As an Event Coordinator at AnLar, Amanda supports multiple large-scale education initiatives by leading the planning and execution of several in-person and virtual events. In addition, she works across AnLar teams to plan and implement multiple in-house events for AnLar’s staff. Amanda thrives in creating top-notch attendee experiences, leveraging her keen attention to detail, passion for efficiency, and solutions-oriented approach.
Before joining AnLar, Amanda worked at the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!) as an Administrative Manager, ensuring all programs, events, and systems within the Liberal Arts Career Services program were operationally exceptional. Prior to her tenure at UW, Amanda worked in various organizations within the events industry, planning thousands of events ranging from weddings to concerts to the World Dairy Expo (very Wisconsin of me, I know). Amanda got her BA in Communications from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
When not planning her next big event at AnLar, Amanda enjoys throwing themed parties of her own, including a recent favorite: a Taylor Swift/Chiefs-themed Super Bowl party. She also enjoys binging reality tv and teen dramas from her high school years. Amanda loves traveling with her family and spending time on the North Carolina coast.
