The Challenge

Early Intervention Service (EIS) programs and local education agencies (LEAs) need to have the knowledge and resources to ensure timely transitions of eligible young children from early intervention to the public school system.

Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), and the Department of Public Health (DPH)

What We Did

AnLar provided the expertise in Part C and Part B transition through technical assistance and training. AnLar developed presentations, materials, and training for EIS programs and LEA staff around understanding regulations, guidance, and procedures on Part C to Part B transition; culturally responsive practices on collaborating with families to ensure timely transitions of eligible young children with disabilities; creating MOUs; and best practices and resources on timely transitions of eligible young children with disabilities.
