The Challenge

What Works Clearinghouse – Postsecondary Education and Postsecondary Preparation Evidence Reporting (WWC-PEPPER) needs quarterly reports about what Higher Education stakeholders are publishing. Overall, WWC-PEPPER requested a report of buzz-worthy topics in Higher Education so that they can keep their finger on the pulse of Higher Education news and concerns.

What We Did

The AnLar research team developed a coding system to classify Higher Education publications and topics. Then, we coded all online publications from Higher Education stakeholders over each three-month quarter. We analyzed the results and created short blurbs about the five most-discussed topics in the Higher Education realm. The Communications and Development team developed these blurbs into quarterly publications that highlight to WWC what Higher Education stakeholders are writing about in that quarter.
