Massachusetts Early Childhood Special Education Coordinator’s Leadership Institute (ECLI)

Project Case Study
The Challenge

A state department of education needs a way to grow and develop the leadership capacity of district level early childhood special education coordinators.

The Client

Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education

What We Did

Our team created and facilitated a leadership institute with in-person, and virtual synchronous and asynchronous engagement to foster professional connections and learning among job-alike colleagues across the state. Throughout the course of a year, participants engage in instructional and community of practice sessions focused on early childhood trends, challenges, policy, and best practices with a focus on application and systems change. Participants select a problem of practice and are coached by an AnLar facilitator through a job-embedded Capstone Project rooted in implementation science.
