Massachusetts developed a whole child approach to kindergarten transitions and needed a vendor to pilot, finalize, and roll out the guidance statewide.

What We Did
AnLar piloted the toolkit with two communities representing urban and rural districts. Pilot participants brought in school, community, and family representatives. Through in-person and virtual sessions, AnLar facilitators introduced the Transition to Kindergarten Toolkit and coached the two pilot teams in creating a Transition to Kindergarten plan with a vision, goals, and action steps. AnLar oversaw the revisions, translation services design, and 508 compliance of the toolkit in seven languages.
