AnLar is looking for a Senior Project Director to lead projects or development initiatives involving the technical design and implementation of web systems across AnLar. This position is also responsible for developing processes for leading IT design and development projects, including management and coordination with IT partners (including but not limited to OtisEd), system design, quality assurance, systems development review, and alignment of client needs to development requirements.

Consistent with other hiring processes, we will adhere to our no-negotiation policy to ensure a fair selection and pay process. This Level 4 position, based on the complexity and responsibility of the role, has a starting salary at the base of the band, $133,835.
What the job entails:
- Responsibility 1: Senior Project Director for development initiatives or projects with an emphasis on system and/or design. In this role, this team member will oversee the quality implementation of development efforts, coordinate with the client and staff to ensure system requirements meet their needs, and hold development staff accountable for an on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Responsibility 2: This position will serve as the technical lead for PDPDCS maintenance as well as the current redesign effort. This role will lead the overall design and ensure the quality implementation of the $4 million effort in collaboration with USED and our partners. This role will closely review development progress; ensure the project development, programmatic, and system testing teams meet established milestones; and fulfill client needs and requirements.
- Responsibility 3: This position will collaborate with other project directors across AnLar to ensure they meet IT development best practices as part of their leadership roles. This includes but is not limited to codifying an AnLar process or approach to leading IT development projects and mentoring fellow project directors with less specific IT experience.
What skill set we’re looking for:
- Must have 1: 5+ years of experience leading IT projects, with a strong preference for leading projects for Federal clients
- Must have 2: In-depth knowledge of the PDPDCS system
- Must have 3: Firm command of and strong vision for leading and continuously improving AnLar IT development processes
