As Program Associate at AnLar, Lindsay supports multiple Department of Education contracts, making sure deadlines are met and the team works as efficiently as possible.
Prior to her role at AnLar, Lindsay managed educational programs supporting recently resettled refugee youth at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Silver Spring, MD. During her time with the IRC, she dramatically scaled its programs, overseeing curriculum development, student enrollment, volunteer management, community outreach, and partnership development. Lindsay has also worked at AppleTree Institute for Education Innovation as an Early Childhood Education Research Contractor and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts supporting a Department of Education funded study.
After spending years mentoring children and youth experiencing adversity, Lindsay knows firsthand that education has the power to transform individual lives and communities. She is passionate about improving education access and equity. When not watching a history documentary or catching up with friends scattered across the country, Lindsay can be found searching the DMV area for the best Mexican food and most challenging hiking trails.
